My name is Dominik

I was born after the Redlines Era and living mainly in Europe, I didn’t have many Hot Wheels, more Matchbox. In fact, until 2018 I had no idea what a Redline was!

One day, back in Spring of 2018, my then 3-year-old son went to see his doctor for a check-up. He was wearing a cool Gap T-Shirt that had a Hot Wheels car on it! When the Doctor saw the car, he became all excited and told my wife and son that the car is a Warpath and that “your dad should go check his old boxes in the attic“ to see if there are any.

So of course, I forgot about it until around the summer, when I was in the attic cleaning up and opened my old boxes full of cars and couldn’t believe it, I found a Warpath in really good condition and an equally nice rose Beach Bomb. Turns out that rose is one of the toughest colors – and so my redline addiction began!

My main focus of collecting, is everything to do Heisse Räder, hence the name of my website. This is Hot Wheels in German.
